How to pitch

Submission form

Submissions must be exclusive to WardsAuto and must not have been published previously; the site reserves exclusive rights for at least 30 days following publication, and accepted pieces remain published indefinitely. All pieces must be original and strictly the author's work, with any distinctive wording quoted and attributed. Pieces should be an opinion on a timely and important issue and must add value to an ongoing industry discussion. Generative AI is not permitted in writing op-eds and AI-generated submissions will be rejected. The average submission is roughly 1,000 words. Submit through the form with your name, job title, company name, email, the submission itself, and a brief description. The site cannot respond to every author; if accepted, it will make contact within three weeks, and accepted authors must be willing to handle two to three rounds of edits and fact checks.

Reviewer noteExclusivity is strict and AI-written op-eds are explicitly rejected. The site cannot reply to every submission, so silence after three weeks means the piece is no longer under consideration.

Last source check: 9 Oct 2026. Due for re-check.
