Email pitch

Pitch the story idea before writing: send an email with a proposed topic, a one or two sentence description of how the article will cover it, the author name, and an author bio. Articles must be original bylined pieces from end-user practitioners, independent analysts and consultants, researchers, academics, or ecosystem executives. No sales: articles must be written from an independent viewpoint with no mention of the author's company, products, or services, and vendor or product mentions (including embedded links) will be edited out. Ideal articles focus on market trends and research, insightful commentary, real-world applications or case studies, or technology advancements, and must carry a real-time angle. Target length is 1,000 to 2,000 words. Microsoft Word via email is preferred. Authors must be verifiable real-time experts with a LinkedIn profile, published articles on the topic, and an online presence; content, marketing, and SEO writers are not accepted. First submissions must include a bio of 150 words or less, a public email address, a high-resolution colour headshot, and social handles. Review, prep, and scheduling typically take three to six weeks. Accepted articles cannot be re-published in full, though a summary with a link is allowed. The publication keeps final editorial control over copy, links, photos, graphics, SEO, and social copy.
