How to pitch

Submission form

Choose the appropriate submission form for a gear press release, event announcement, or ride/event report. Include complete descriptions covering who, what, when, where, and why; include pricing, availability, and relevant info; include photos or video, since press releases without imagery will not be posted. Do not include unsubstantiated claims, do not imply an endorsement from technical editors, do not write about yourself in the third person, do not use Velo editorial titles, and include a maximum of one link or call-to-action per submission. Date the release and note immediate or delayed release and any embargo. Event reports should be submitted within a day or two of the event. The site posts only a fraction of submissions and generally cannot give a reason for rejection.

Costs and conditions
