Email pitch
Articles should be at least 800 to 1,000 words and not much more than about 1,200. Write from an objective viewpoint with practical advice, actionable tips, and clear takeaways for a mostly B2B marketer audience; bullet points are welcome and meandering text is not. Articles must be original to the author and unpublished elsewhere (infographics may have appeared elsewhere). Include a brief 25-word bio with LinkedIn and Twitter contact info and a recent headshot (front view, whole head and upper torso in frame, not closely cropped). Include relevant links immediately preceding the anchor text rather than embedding them. Submit as a Microsoft Word file attached to an email — not a PDF, not a Google Doc link, and not pasted into the email body. Disclose any vested interest in businesses or companies mentioned. Send byline submissions to Content Director Bri Krantz with "MarketingProfs byline contribution" in the subject line. Expect to hear back within a week or two if accepted. The author retains copyright and may republish on their own blog after publication, citing MarketingProfs and linking to the original.
Read the publisher instructionsMarketingProfs states plainly that it does not pay guest contributors for their articles. There is no fee to submit.
The route and terms above were recorded from the publisher page. Source checks may be automated. Always check the publisher page for changes before sending a pitch.
https://www.marketingprofs.com/write-for-usReviewer noteThe publication queue for contributed articles can be up to two months long and the site is highly selective, so a submission may take a long time to appear even if accepted. Contributors are not paid, and submissions that do not follow the format guidelines are unlikely to get a reply.
