How to pitch

Email pitch

Articles can be on any topic as long as it is law-related. Recommended length is 800 to 1,500 words, though submissions just outside those limits are accepted. The Journal welcomes articles in the author's chosen style and from their own perspective; articles need not be impartial or politically neutral. Avoid complex legal jargon that may confuse readers at different career levels. Include any online resources by hyperlinking the source to the relevant text, and list offline resources at the end under "Further reading". The Journal cannot accept articles published or due to be published elsewhere, and cannot accept old essays or dissertations written in a heavily academic style. Articles are published under the author's personal byline, and authors must disclose if they used AI to assist with writing. Submit to [email available after sign-in], or email an idea for guidance. Include a clear colour photo and brief profile information such as place and level of study and topics of interest.
